§ 2-76. Office of clerk.
Latest version.
The clerk (referred to in this Code as the "clerk") shall be appointed annually by the town manager. The clerk shall, in addition to those duties prescribed by general law, disburse funds for the various purposes of the town only when an appropriation for such purpose has been made in the annual budget and the disbursement is authorized by the board of commissioners.
